LUCs LGU-run TVIs, SUCs, and TESDA TTIs:

Grant of up to PHP 40,000/year for education expenses, including rental or purchase of computer, books and supplies, transportation, lodging and board expenses.

Private TVIs and HEIs:

Benefits are entitled to students enrolled in private HEIs and TVIs (Sections 23 and 24. IRR of RA 10931):

  • Up to Php 20,000 per academic year for tuition and other school fees
  • Up to Up to Php 40,000 per academic year for education related expenses, including rental or purchase of computer, books and supplies, transportation, lodging and board expenses.

What are the Eligibility Criteria of TES Scholarship Program?

The Eligibility Criteria to Apply Scholarship:

  • Must be Citizen of the Philippines
  • Qualified for admission and retention at your HEls – Higher Education institutions
  • Must not be expelled from any (HEIs) – Higher Education Institutions
  • He or She must enroll in any SUCs, CHED-recognized LUCs, or
  • private school programs on the CHED Registry
  • Qualified under any future policies implemented by the UniFAST Board.

  • TES Grantees and ESGPPA Beneficiaries
  • Listahan 2.0 students from the DSWD-National Household Targeting Office, ranked by estimated per capital household income
  • Students not enrolled in Listahan 2.0 and ranked according to projected per capital household income based on UniFAST Board-required proof of income documents

  • All Enrolled Filipino Undergraduate Students
  • Higher Education Institution (HEI) and the program are both CHED-Recognized
    • State Universities and Colleges (SUCs)
    • Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs)
    • Private HEls
  • Not overstaying in the program 4 or 5+1 years grace Perios

TES Application Process

  • Step 1 – UniFast secretariat calls for TES Application in HEls
  • Step 2 – HEI TES Focal Collects and uploads the information of applicants into the UniFAST Online Portal Within the submission Period
  • Step 3 – UniFAST Secretariat Conducts a Nationwide assessment to determine the qualified applicants
  • Step 4 – HEI Informs qualified applicants to submit the documentary requirements
  • Step 5 – Qualified applicant submits documentary requirements to HEl
  • Step 6 – HEI Submits the Documentary requirements to CHED Regional office (CHEDRO) to Proceed with the verification and validation process
  • Step 7 – UniFAST Regional Coordinators verify and validate the Documents Submitted to identify the new TES Grantees
  • Step 8 – UniFAST Secretariat reviews and issues the official Masterlist of new TES Grantees to HEIs through CHEDRO
  • Step 9 – Based on the masterlist, the HEI Submits billing documents to CHEDRO in order to Process the payment of TES Grants
  • Step 10 – UniFAST releases the TES Grants through the Landbank Mastercard prepaid Card (LMPC) or HEI
